Mr Irons SZE is currently the Vice President of the Chinese Manufacturers’ Association of Hong Kong. With his extensive corporate management experiences, he has been serving in various government bodies and consultative committees to support the business and industry growth of Hong Kong. He has been serving as a member of the Labour Advisory Board since 2009. He is also the Chairman of the Hong Kong Brands and Products Expo since 2008, organising the annual event to explore business opportunities for the small and medium-sized enterprises. In 2010, he became a member of the HKSAR Greater Pearl River Delta Business Council, to help establish economic collaborations between the business sectors of Hong Kong and Guangdong.
A staunch supporter of the VTC, Mr Sze has been facilitating VTC to set up scholarships for the students since 1995, supporting the development of young generation to become competent workforce contributing to the Hong Kong economy. He has also provided substantial support to the Student Industrial Attachment Programme through his donation to the Outstanding Industrial Attachment Scholarship Award to further strengthen the work attachment component of the VTC’s curriculum.
Mr Sze is also actively involved in philanthropic work with various local charities. He was a Board Member of Tung Wah Group of Hospitals and was the Chairman of the Community Chest’s "Walk for Millions" in the Hong Kong Island and Kowloon District in 2010.
