The Technological and Higher Education Institute of Hong Kong (THEi) is a member institute of the Vocational Training Council (VTC), established in 2012. It is an innovative, professional and entrepreneurial organisation committed to greening and sustainability. THEi offers more than 20 professional "Applied Science-Oriented" degree programmes across six Academic Departments: Department of Food and Health Sciences, Department of Construction, Environment and Engineering, Department of Sport and Recreation, Department of Hospitality and Business Management, Department of Design and Architecture, and Department of Digital Innovation and Technology. These programmes cover industries with growth potential in Hong Kong and the Asia-Pacific region. Major Duties: |
|
The appointee will assist the Principal Investigator in conducting project work and research related to the field of food science and safety and nutrition study, and supporting the work with creative ideas, scientific discoveries, and can perform good quality of analytical work with instrument and microbiological tests. He/she will be required to perform collection and analysis of data and prepare research reports. |

Requirements: |
|
For the post of Research Assistant I, applicants should have a Master’s degree in Food Science / Safety, Nutrition and Health Studies or other related disciplines; or a recognised degree in related disciplines with relevant work experience. |
|
|
|
For the post of Research Assistant II, applicants should have a recognised sub-degree in Food Science / Safety and Nutrition and Health or relevant disciplines, or equivalent level of study. Applicants with work experience in the relevant fields are preferred but not essential. Fresh graduates are also welcome to apply. |

|
Applicants should have good command of both Chinese and English. |
