Major Duties: |
(a) |
To provide clerical support in general administration; |
(b) |
To perform data input and analysis; |
(c) |
To provide operation support for MyPortal, student records systems and timetabling-related services; |
(d) |
To conduct user acceptance tests on systems’ enhancements; |
(e) |
To assist in developing operation guides and video tutorials on system functions from users’ perspective; |
(f) |
To handle enquiries and draft simple correspondence; |
(g) |
To assist in providing secretarial support for various committees; and |
(h) |
To provide support in event arrangement and logistics. |

Requirements: |
(a) |
(i) |
Level 2 or above in 5 subjects, including English Language*, Chinese Language and Mathematics, in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education (HKDSE) Examination, or equivalent^; OR |
|
(ii) |
Level 2 / Grade E or above in 5 subjects including English Language (Syllabus B)*, Chinese Language and Mathematics in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE); OR |
|
(iii) |
Diploma of Applied Education + Maths Plus / Diploma Yi Jin + Mathematics / Project Yi Jin; OR |
|
(iv) |
A recognised Certificate / Diploma / Foundation Diploma / Foundation Certificate / Diploma of Foundation Studies; OR |
|
(v) |
A recognised Associate Degree / Higher Diploma or above. |

Completion of Hong Kong Vocational English Programme (HKVEP) at Level 2 / Passing 5 specific VTC’s Vocational English Module Certificates is considered an alternative qualification. |

“Attained” in Applied Learning subjects (subject to a maximum of two Applied Learning subjects), and Grade E in Other Language subjects in HKDSE Examination are accepted as equivalent to Level 2 in the New Senior Secondary subjects. |
(b) |
Proficiency in the use of computer software application, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Access, Chinese word processing and / or simple webpage design; |
(c) |
Good command of Chinese and English, preferably with knowledge of Putonghua; |
(d) |
Good communication, interpersonal and organisational skills; |
(e) |
Ability to work independently and be a good team player; |
(f) |
Good work initiative and be customer-oriented; and |
(g) |
Experience in providing support to IT systems at corporate scale (e.g. timetabling system and student module selection system) will be an added advantage. |

Applicants with substantial experience and achievements in the relevant field but without the required academic / professional qualifications OR those with exceptional academic / professional qualifications but with less experience may also apply. |
(2) |
The appointee(s) may be required to perform duties outside normal office hours and / work on shift duty. |
