The Technological and Higher Education Institute of Hong Kong (THEi) is a member institute of the Vocational Training Council (VTC), established in 2012. It is an innovative, professional and entrepreneurial organisation committed to greening and sustainability. THEi offers more than 20 professional "Applied Science-Oriented" degree programmes across six Academic Departments: Department of Food and Health Sciences, Department of Construction, Environment and Engineering, Department of Sport and Recreation, Department of Hospitality and Business Management, Department of Design and Architecture, and Department of Digital Innovation and Technology. These programmes cover industries with growth potential in Hong Kong and the Asia-Pacific region. Major Duties: |
|
The appointee will assist the Principal Investigator in conducting project work and research related to the field of food science and nutrition studies, and support the research work related to horticultural therapy. He/she will be required to collect and analyze data and prepare research reports. |

Requirements: |
|
For the post of Research Assistant I, applicants should have a recognised Master’s degree in Nutrition, Healthcare, Health Studies, Applied Biology or related disciplines or a recognised degree in related disciplines with relevant work experience; or equivalent. |
|
|
|
|
For the post of Research Assistant II, applicants should have a recognised sub-degree in Nutrition, Healthcare, Health Studies, Applied Biology or relevant disciplines, or equivalent level of study. |
|
|
|
Applicants with work experience in animal study are preferred. Applicants should have good command of both English and Chinese, preferably including Putonghua. |

The appointee(s) may be appointed on temporary or part-time terms of employment. |

The appointee(s) may be required to perform duties at different sites and work irregular hours, shifts and on Saturdays and Sundays as necessary. |
