Major Duties: |
(a) |
To perform teaching duties including supervision of students’ projects and fieldwork placement; |
(b) |
To carry out duties in relation to student and academic administration; |
(c) |
To develop programme curriculum and teaching, learning and assessment materials; |
(d) |
To carry out various administrative duties; |
(e) |
To assist in validation and accreditation of programmes; |
(f) |
To participate in networking with industry / industrial attachments, departmental projects and functions including but not limited to consultancy services, research studies, seminars and exhibitions. |

Requirements: |
(a) |
A recognised degree in Chinese Medicines, preferably with a post-graduate qualification; |
(b) |
At least 3 years’ full-time relevant teaching and/or industry experience; |
(c) |
With solid experience in Chinese medicines manufacturing, preferably in GMP facilities, registration of Chinese medicinal products, familiar with the regulations about Chinese medicines in Hong Kong / China, and knowledge of principles and dispensing of Chinese medicines and general science would be an advantage; |
(d) |
Good communication and presentation skills in both English and Chinese; |
(e) |
Good work initiative, interpersonal and organisation skills; and |
(f) |
Good records of linkages with the industry would be an added advantage. |

Applicants with substantial experience and achievements in the relevant field but without the required academic / professional qualifications OR those with exceptional academic / professional qualifications but with less experience may also apply. |

Shortlisted candidates will be required to take a written assessment. |

The appointee(s) may be required to perform duties outside normal office hours and/or outside campus. |
