Major Duties: |
(a) |
To assist in workshops / laboratories equipment installation / maintenance and training session preparation; |
(b) |
To assist the lecturers during laboratory / practical classes; |
(c) |
To assist in trouble shooting, acquisition and installation of all equipment, hardware and software; |
(d) |
To assist in the implementation of safety measures in laboratories and maintaining the tidiness of the workshops / laboratories; |
(e) |
To assist in the procurement and inventory control of relevant stores and equipment; and |
(f) |
To provide technical support for teaching activities, as well as special projects, events and exhibitions. |

Requirements: |
(a) |
A recognised diploma or higher certificate in Multimedia, Computer Science or IT-related disciplines; |
(b) |
At least 2 years’ relevant work experience; |
(c) |
Good knowledge of operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of computer hardware, software and networking; |
(d) |
Good communication and interpersonal skills in both English and Chinese; |
(e) |
Ability to work independently and be a good team player; and |
(f) |
Candidate(s) with experience / knowledge / skills in any of the following areas would be an advantage: |

(i) |
AI and digital tools used in education sector; |
|
(ii) |
Web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript and Moodle learning platform; and/or |
|
(iii) |
Video editing software, animation tools and multimedia production technologies. |

Notes: |
(1) |
Applicants with substantial experience and achievements in the relevant field but without the required academic / professional qualifications OR those with exceptional academic / professional qualifications but with less experience may also apply. |

Candidates should specify their relevant skills and knowledge of equipment, software and related work experience in their curriculum vitae (CV) and list the machines and equipment they can operate, along with the corresponding skills, in the section (VI) “Other Information” of the application form. |
(3) |
Shortlisted candidates may be required to attend a trade test. |
(4) |
The appointee may be required to perform duties outside normal office hours and / or outside office. |
