Childcare, Elderly and Community Services Discipline

Major Duties:
(a)	To perform teaching duties including supervision of student projects and fieldwork placement;
(b)	To carry out duties in relation to student and academic administration;
(c)	To develop programme curriculum and teaching, learning and assessment materials;
(d)	To assist in validation and accreditation of programmes; and
(e)	To participate in networking with industry / industrial attachments, departmental projects and functions including but not limited to consultancy services, research studies, seminars and exhibitions.

Requirements:
(a)	A recognised degree in Social Work, preferably with a post-graduate qualification;
(b)	A registered Social Worker under the Social Workers Registration Board, with at least 5 years’ post-degree experience in Social Work practice; and
(c)	Good communication and presentation skills in both English and Chinese.

Notes:
(1)	Shortlisted candidates will be required to take a written assessment.
(2)	The appointee may be required to perform duties outside normal working hours and/or outside campus.
