Major Duties: |
(a)
|
To provide technical support to teaching activities, special projects / events and be responsible for laboratory equipment installation / maintenance and training session preparation; |
|
(b) |
To assist lecturers during laboratory, practical classes and field works; |
|
(c) |
To assist in the procurement and inventory control of relevant stores and equipment; and |
|
(d) |
To assist in implementing safety measures in laboratories and maintaining the tidiness of the workshops / laboratories. |
|
|
|
|
Requirements: |
|
(a) |
A recognised diploma or higher certificate in the areas of Health Care, Health Science or relevant disciplines; |
(b)
|
At least 2 years’ relevant work experience, preferably in the areas of clinical services, health-related settings or laboratory operation; |
|
(c) |
Knowledge of safety management for dangerous substances; |
|
(d) |
Good work initiative and be a good team player; and |
|
(e) |
Good computer knowledge and experience in using simulation equipment and e-learning system is preferred. |

Notes: |

|
Applicants with substantial experience and achievements in the relevant field but without the required academic/professional qualifications OR those with exceptional academic/professional qualifications but with less experience may also apply. |

(2) |
Shortlisted candidate(s) may be required to attend and pass a trade test. |
|
(3) |
The appointee may be required to perform duties at different sites and outside normal office hours. |
