Major Duties: |
|
(a) |
To perform teaching duties in the Specialism listed below: |
|
|
Animation Stream: |
|
|
- |
Animation creation process: developing a story, storyboarding, animating and post-production; |
|
|
- |
Application of 3D content creation package, such as Blender / Autodesk Maya / Autodesk 3DS Max; |
|
|
Game Stream: |
|
|
- |
Game creation process: Pre-production (planning and prototyping), Production (building the core game), and Post-production (testing, launch, and updates); |
|
|
- |
Application of game engines, such as Unreal Engine/ Unity/ Python Programming/ Java/ C#/ C++ Programming; |
|
|
Theme Park and Theatre Creative Technology Stream: |
|
|
- |
Stage Lighting Technology, Design and Operation (ETC EOS Family lighting consoles); |
|
|
- |
Stage Management / Production Management (AutoCAD); |
|
|
- |
Immersive / Interactive AV Production (TouchDesigner / BlackTrax / d&b Soundscape); |
|
|
- |
Audio-Visual Installation and Technical Assembling; |
|
|
Common for all Streams: |
|
|
- |
AI content creation; |
|
|
- |
Information Technology Applications; |
|
|
- |
Multimedia Websites Design and Practices; |
|
|
- |
Mathematics (from HKDSE to University levels); |
|
(b) |
To coordinate & support students’ industrial attachment projects; |
|
(c) |
To carry out duties in relation to student and academic administration; |
|
(d) |
To develop course curriculum and teaching materials; and |
|
(e) |
To participate in various projects, events and functions. |
|

|
|
Requirements: |
|
Animation and Game Streams: |
|
- |
A recognised degree in Multimedia / Software Development / Information Communication Technology / Computer Engineering or equivalent, preferably with a post-graduate qualification; |
|
Theme Park and Theatre Creative Technology Stream: |
|
- |
A recognised degree in Multimedia and Entertainment Technology, Creative Media, Art Technology or equivalent, preferably with a post-graduate qualification; |
|
- |
Applicants for Stage Lighting Operation with knowledge of GrandMA3 is preferred; |
|
Common for all streams: |
|
(a) |
At least 3 years’ relevant teaching and/or industry experience; |
|
(b) |
Good communication and presentation skills in both English and Chinese; |
|
(c) |
Good records of connection with the industry or professional bodies will be an added advantage; and |
|
(d) |
Solid teaching and/or industry experience in relevant field and preferably in at least one of the specialisms will be an advantage. |

Applicants with substantial experience and achievements in the relevant field but without the required academic / professional qualifications OR those with exceptional academic / professional qualifications but with less experience may also apply. |
