Major Duties: |
|
(a) |
To perform teaching duties including supervision of student projects and fieldwork placement; |
|
(b) |
To carry out duties in relation to student and academic administration; |
|
(c) |
To develop programme curriculum and teaching, learning and assessment materials; |
|
(d) |
To assist in validation and accreditation of the programmes; and |
|
(e) |
To participate in networking with industry / industrial attachments, departmental projects and functions including but not limited to consultancy services, research studies, seminars and exhibitions. |

|
Requirements: |
|
(a) |
A recognised degree in Design Innovation, Design Management, Creative Media, Digital Media, Media Communication, Film & Animation, or equivalent, preferably with a post-graduate qualification; |
|
(b) |
At least 3 years’ relevant teaching and / or industry experience with comprehensive knowledge and skills in film and animation design; |
|
(c) |
Good communication, teaching and facilitation skills in both English and Chinese; and |
|
(d) |
Records of linkage with the digital media-related industries or professional bodies. |

Notes: |
|
(1) |
Applicants with substantial experience and achievements in the relevant field but without the required academic / professional qualifications OR those with exceptional academic / professional qualifications but with less experience may also apply. |

(2) |
Shortlisted candidate will be required to take a written assessment. |
|
(3) |
The appointee(s) may be required to perform duties outside normal office hours and at different work locations as assigned. |
