    Part-time (Daytime) Lecturer
    Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education (Kwai Chung)

    Prosthetics & Orthotics
     
    Major Duties:
    (a) To perform teaching duties including supervision of students’ projects and fieldwork placement;
    (b) To carry out duties in relation to student and academic administration;
    (c) To develop programme curriculum, teaching materials, assignment / test paper if necessary;
    (d)
     
    To participate in departmental projects and functions including but not limited to consultancy services, research studies, seminars and exhibitions; and
    (e)
     
    To participate in networking with industry and sourcing industrial attachments, organising seminars and talks for students and soliciting student scholarships.
     
    Requirements:
    (a) A recognised relevant degree, or equivalent professional qualification; 
    (b) At least 3 years’ relevant teaching / industry experience;
    (c) Good communication, teaching and facilitation skills in both English and Chinese; and
    (d) Relevant teaching experience in the subject area would be an advantage.
     
    Notes:
    (1) Shortlisted candidates will be required to attend a written assessment.
    (2) The appointee(s) may be required to perform duties outside normal office hours and/or outside campus.
