|
Major Duties: |
|
(a) |
To perform administrative duties in respect of one or more of the following areas: |
|
|
(i) |
Human resources management; |
|
|
(ii) |
Student and course related administration; |
|
|
(iii) |
Administrative and academic support (e.g. student admissions, student services, student records activities and matters relating to programme planning and operation); |
|
|
(iv) |
Financial and supplies matters; |
|
|
(v) |
General administration and facilities management; |
|
|
(vi) |
Planning and organizing events; and |
|
|
(vii) |
Project administration and coordination; |
|
(b) |
To assist the Head of Operational Unit to administer relevant policies and systems with a view to ensuring compliance with Council’s policies; |
|
(c) |
To supervise and coordinate the work of clerical and supporting staff to ensure effective operation and management of the operational unit; |
|
(d) |
To undertake committee work in various committees, boards and meetings; |
|
(e) |
To assist in coordinating projects and events, and the publicity matters of the operational unit; and |
|
(f) |
To help implement the quality policy of the operational unit. |

|
Requirements: |
|
(a) |
A recognised degree or equivalent; |
|
(b) |
At least 2 years’ relevant work experience at the executive level, preferably in educational institutions or major organisations; |
|
(c) |
Good communication, presentation, interpersonal, organisation and administrative skills; |
|
(d) |
Good problem solving, time management and team building skills; |
|
(e) |
Mature, dynamic, self-initiative, willingness to meet challenges and the ability to work independently and under pressure; |
|
(f) |
A high level of written and spoken language proficiency in both Chinese and English, preferably including Putonghua; and |
|
(g) |
Preferably good IT knowledge and skills. |
