The School for Higher and Professional Education (SHAPE) is a self-financed arm of the Vocational Training Council (VTC). It offers top-up bachelor degree programmes to VTC’s Higher Diploma graduates and other sub-degree holders in collaboration with overseas universities. Applications are now invited for the posts of Part-time (Daytime) Project Supervisor for the full-time programme of BSc (Hons) Human Biosciences offered at SHAPE (Chai Wan) in the academic year 2026/27. |

Major Duties: |
|
(a) |
To supervise students’ research projects; |
|
(b) |
To mark and provide guidance / feedback on students’ assessments and projects; |
|
(c) |
To carry out academic related administration duties, including serving in academic and other related meetings; and |
|
(d) |
To participate in school projects and functions, where necessary. |
|
|
|
|
Requirements: |
|
(a) |
A recognised master’s degree, and/or equivalent professional qualification in related discipline(s); |
|
(b) |
At least 4 years’ relevant teaching experience at tertiary level / degree level or relevant work experience in the subject area(s) concerned; |
|
(c) |
Experience in research, dissertation / project supervision is required; and |
|
(d) |
Good presentation skills and a high level of proficiency in both English and Chinese. |

Applicants with substantial experience and achievements in the relevant field but without the required academic / professional qualifications OR those with exceptional academic / professional qualifications but with less experience may also apply. |
