Major Duties: |
|
(a) |
To provide technical support to teaching activities as well as special projects and events; |
|
(b) |
To assist lecturers in the demonstration, practical classes, and projects; |
|
(c) |
To be responsible for the installation, commissioning, operation, and maintenance of equipment / apparatus; |
|
(d) |
To set up and prepare the laboratory/practical training sessions; |
|
(e) |
To assist in updating of laboratory exercise instruction sheets; |
|
(f) |
To provide guidance and supporting services to students in the laboratories / workshops / practical training rooms; |
|
(g) |
To keep stores and inventory; and |
|
(h) |
To keep the operating areas clean and tidy. |
|

|
Requirements: |
|
(a) |
A relevant recognised diploma or higher certificate in the relevant discipline, plus at least 2 years of relevant work experience; |
|
(b) |
Ability to work independently and be a good team player; and |
|
(c) |
Good interpersonal and communication skills and facilitation skills in both English and Chinese. |

Notes: |
|
(1) |
Applicants with substantial experience and achievements in the relevant field but without the required academic/professional qualifications OR those with exceptional academic/professional qualifications but with less experience may also apply. |

(2) |
Shortlisted candidates will be required to attend a trade test. |
