Major Duties: |
(a) |
To perform teaching duties including delivery of lectures, tutorials and seminars, setting and marking of assessments, and assist in supervision of student projects and fieldwork placement; |
(b) |
To assist in student and academic administration; |
(c) |
To assist in updating and developing programme curriculum and teaching, learning and assessment materials; and |
(d) |
To participate in departmental projects and functions including but not limited to consultancy services, research studies, seminars and exhibitions. |

Requirements: |
(a) |
A relevant recognised degree in Food Science / Food Technology or equivalent; |
(b) |
Preferably with knowledge and experience in food safety management system, such as HACCP and ISO 22000; |
(c) |
Good industrial networks; and |
(d) |
Good communication, teaching and facilitation skills in both English and Chinese. |

Applicants with substantial experience and achievements in the relevant field but without the required academic / professional qualifications OR those with exceptional academic / professional qualifications but with less experience may also apply. |

The appointee(s) may be required to perform duties outside normal office hours and at different work locations as assigned. |
