Dental Surgery Assistant

Major Duties:
(a)	To assist Senior Dental Officer and Dental Officer for dental screening or any emergency services;
(b)	To assist in the installation and maintenance of laboratory equipment and in the preparation of training sessions, including the sterilisation of dental equipment;
(c)	To assist in the procurement and inventory control of relevant stores including consumables for the promotion of dental hygiene and preventive dental service; and
(d)	To assist in the implementation of safety measures in oral care workshops / laboratories.

Requirements:
(a)	A recognised diploma or higher certificate in Dental Surgery Assisting or equivalent;
(b)	At least 2 years’ relevant work experience;
(c)	Proficiency in both English and Chinese; and
(d)	Good work initiative, interpersonal skills and be a good team player.

Notes:
(1)	The post is at the rank of Technician
(2)	The appointee(s) may be required to perform duties outside normal office hours and in designated places as assigned.
