Assistant Lecturer (Computer and Electronic Engineering)

Major Duties:
(a)	To perform teaching duties including assisting in supervision of students’ projects and fieldwork placement in the areas of Communication and Computer Networks, Embedded System, Digital & Analog Electronics, Artificial Intelligence and Big Data, Cybersecurity and Digital Forensics, Internet-of-Things and Sensor Technology, Object-oriented and Mobile Device Programming, Computer Programming for Microcontroller, Mobile Technology and Networking, Control and Automation and other Engineering subjects;
(b)	To assist in carrying out duties in relation to student and academic administration;
(c)	To assist in developing programme curriculum, teaching, learning and assessment materials and facilities;
(d)	To assist in validation and accreditation of programmes; and
(e)	To participate in networking with industry / industrial attachments, departmental projects and functions including but not limited to consultancy services, research studies, seminars and exhibitions.

Requirements:
(a)	A recognised degree in Computer and/or Electronic Engineering or equivalent professional qualifications, preferably with a post-graduate qualification;
(b)	Preferably with relevant teaching and/or industry experience; and
(c)	Good communication and presentation skills in both English and Chinese.

Notes:
(1)	The post is at the rank of Teaching Associate.
(2)	Applicants with substantial experience and achievements in the relevant field but without the required academic / professional qualifications OR those with exceptional academic / professional qualifications but with less experience may also apply.
(3)	Shortlisted candidates may be required to attend a written assessment.
(4)	The initial postings are in IVE (Sha Tin) and IVE (Tuen Mun).
(5)	The appointee(s) may be required to perform duties outside normal office hours and in designated places as assigned.
