Major Duties: |
|
(a) |
To provide technical support to teaching activities as well as special projects and events for the DVE (Pet Care and Grooming) Programme; |
|
(b) |
To assist in the new Pet Care and Grooming Workshop set-up, equipment installation / maintenance and training session preparation; |
|
(c) |
To assist lecturers during practical classes; |
|
(d) |
To assist in the procurement and inventory control of relevant stores and equipment; and |
|
(e) |
To assist in the implementation of safety measures in workshops and maintaining the tidiness of the workshops / studios / laboratories. |
|
|
|
Requirements: |
|
(a) |
A recognised diploma or higher certificate in the areas of Pet Care, Pet Grooming, Animal Science, Animal Biology or relevant disciplines; |
|
(b) |
At least 2 years’ relevant work experience; |
|
(c) |
Knowledge of safety management for dangerous substances; and |
|
(d) |
Good work initiative and be a good team player. |

Notes: |
|
(1) |
Applicants with substantial experience and achievements in the relevant field but without the required academic / professional qualifications OR those with exceptional academic / professional qualifications but with less experience may also apply. |
|
|
(2) |
Applicants with solid experience in workshop operation would be an advantage. |
|
(3) |
The appointee(s) may be required to perform duties on different campuses, outside normal office hours and / or outside campus. |
