Major Duties: |
(a) |
To supervise project teams to develop and implement initiatives related to new energy technology, particularly in solar electric vehicle development; |
(b) |
To support unit head on technology development by work out a research and technology roadmap, enhancing the team’s capabilities; |
(c) |
To conduct R&D works, focusing on electronic design for solar electric vehicles and their subsystems; |
(d) |
To establish and maintain network with universities, institutes and industry associations to foster new energy technology and other marketing activities; and |
(e) |
To assist in carrying out various teaching and administrative duties as assigned. |

Requirements: |
(a) |
A recognised degree in Electrical / Electronic / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, preferably with a post-graduate qualification; |
(b) |
Preferably with relevant experience in technical solutions development and professional services; |
(c) |
Good communication and presentation skills in both English and Chinese, preferably including Putonghua; |
(d) |
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team; and |
(e) |
Candidates with experience in any of the following areas will have an advantage: |

(i) |
Hands-on experience in project implementation; |
|
(ii) |
Leadership experience in international project competitions; |

The post is at the rank of Teaching Associate. |

Applicants with substantial experience and achievements in the relevant field but without the required academic / professional qualifications OR those with exceptional academic / professional qualifications but with less experience may also apply. |

Shortlisted candidates will be required to take a written assessment. |
(4) |
The appointee(s) will be required to perform duties outside normal office hours and/or outside campus. |
