    Term Officer (Business Development)
    Institute of Professional Education And Knowledge (PEAK)

    Institute of Professional Education And Knowledge (PEAK) is one of the member institutions of the Vocational Training Council responsible for the provision of in-service training and professional examination services.  More than 200 major companies have utilised its corporate training services.
     
    Major Duties:
    (a) To promote PEAK’s programmes and services to potential clients;
    (b) To assist in identifying and following up new business opportunities;
    (c) To assist in the implementation and management of corporate training and consultancy projects;
    (d) To support and liaise with key stakeholders including corporate clients, government agencies, training professionals and operational units of VTC;
    (e) To assist in the design and development of new training / e-learning programmes for the in-service market;
    (f) To perform administrative duties and support matters relating to quality assurance and accreditation / validation;
    (g) To coordinate the work of internal / external project team members and supporting staff in service delivery; and
    (h) To undertake committee work in various committees, boards and meetings.
         
    Requirements:
    (a) A recognised degree or equivalent qualification;
    (b) At least 2 years’ relevant experience in corporate training, e-learning and consultancy projects;
    (c) Proven experience in Account Servicing experience, project management and quality assurance process;
    (d) Knowledge in business development and liaising with clients, preferably with good business network with corporate clients;
    (e) Self-motivated, energetic, dedicated, presentable and able to work independently;
    (f) Both result-oriented and service-oriented with strong problem solving, time management, organisational and communication skills;
    (g) Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, preferably including Putonghua; and
    (h) Able to work under pressure and meet tight schedules.
       
    Notes:
    (1) Applicants with substantial experience and achievements in the relevant field but without the required academic / professional qualifications OR those with exceptional academic / professional qualifications but with less experience may also apply.
    (2) Shortlisted candidates may be required to attend a written test in both English and Chinese.
    (3) The appointee(s) may be required to perform duties outside normal office hours, including Sundays and public holidays, and to travel to the Mainland and Macau occasionally to suit operational needs.
