Major Duties: |
|
(a) |
To perform teaching duties including supervision of students’ projects and fieldwork placement; |
|
(b) |
To carry out duties in relation to student and academic administration; |
|
(c) |
To develop programme curriculum and teaching, learning and assessment materials; |
|
(d) |
To assist in validation and accreditation of programmes; and |
|
(e) |
To participate in networking with industry / industrial attachments, departmental projects and functions including but not limited to consultancy services, research studies, seminars and exhibitions. |

|
Requirements: |
|
(a) |
A relevant recognised degree in Building Services / Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent professional qualifications, preferably with a post-graduate qualification; |
|
(b) |
At least 3 years’ relevant teaching and/or industry experience; |
|
(c) |
Good communication, presentation, teaching, and facilitation skills in both English and Chinese; and |
|
(d) |
Good records of linkage with industry / professional bodies or with solid industrial experience would be an advantage. |

Notes: |

(1) |
Applicants with substantial experience and achievements in the relevant field but without the required academic / professional qualifications OR those with exceptional academic / professional qualifications but with less experience may also apply. |

(2) |
Shortlisted candidates will be required to take a written assessment. |

Evening classes normally run between 6:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. |
