|
Major Duties: |
|
(a) |
To provide support in one or more of the following areas of the Mainland and International Affairs Office (MIAO): |
|
|
(i) |
general administration, data processing and filling; |
|
|
(ii) |
finance, supplies, medical insurance, and administrative support for non-local students; |
|
|
(iii) |
promotion and publicity work; and |
|
|
(iv) |
handling enquiries and counter services; |
|
(b) |
To prepare and draft basic correspondence and reports; and |
|
(c) |
To provide support for various meetings, activities and events. |
|
|
|
|
Requirements: |
|
(a) |
(i) |
Level 2 or above in 5 subjects, including English Language*, Chinese Language and Mathematics, in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education (HKDSE) Examination, or equivalent^; OR |
|
|
(ii) |
Level 2 / Grade E or above in 5 subjects including English Language (Syllabus B)*, Chinese Language and Mathematics in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE); OR |
|
|
(iii) |
Diploma of Applied Education + Maths Plus / Diploma Yi Jin + Mathematics / Project Yi Jin; OR |
|
|
(iv) |
A recognised Certificate / Diploma / Foundation Diploma / Foundation Certificate / Diploma of Foundation Studies; OR |
|
|
(v) |
A recognised Associate Degree / Higher Diploma or above. |

Completion of Hong Kong Vocational English Programme (HKVEP) at Level 2 / Passing 5 specific VTC’s Vocational English Module Certificates is considered an alternative qualification. |

“Attained” in Applied Learning subjects (subject to a maximum of two Applied Learning subjects), and Grade E in Other Language subjects in HKDSE Examination are accepted as equivalent to Level 2 in the New Senior Secondary subjects. |

(b) |
Good communication, interpersonal and organisational skills; |
|
(c) |
Good command of Chinese and English, preferably with knowledge of Putonghua; |
|
(d) |
Ability to work independently and be a good team player; and |
|
(e) |
Good knowledge in MS Office applications, particularly in Word and Excel. |

The appointee(s) may be required to work irregular hours / outside normal office hours. |
