Major Duties: |
|
(a) |
To conduct classes and practical training in Continuing and Professional Education (CPE) Operations; |
|
(b) |
To prepare and update training materials and assist in developing programme curriculum; |
|
(c) |
To maintain training related records and store inventory; |
|
(d) |
To assist in the routine maintenance of equipment / facilities of the section; and |
|
(e) |
To perform duties related to the effective running of training programmes. |
|
|
|
|
General Requirements: |
|
(a) |
A recognised higher diploma in relevant discipline, or equivalent; |
|
(b) |
At least 3 years’ relevant work or teaching experience in relevant industry; and |
|
(c) |
Proficiency in spoken and written English and Chinese, knowledge of spoken Putonghua is preferably. |
|
|
|
|
Specific Requirements: |
|
For the specialism of Spa |
|
(i) |
A recognised professional certification in perfumery or proven MBTI perfume formulation experience; and |
|
(ii) |
Preferably with aITEC Lecturer / ICAD Level 2 or above qualification. |
|
For the specialism of Housekeeping |
|
(i) |
A recognised certificate or above in Glass Terrarium, Horticulture, Floriculture Environmental Art; |
|
(ii) |
Experience in glass terrarium, hotel horticulture, floral, or related areas in design and making; |
|
(iii) |
Knowledge of floral, plants, moss, succulents, etc. and plant care; and |
|
(iv) |
Good aesthetic sense and ability to create terrariums, horticulture, floral, etc. matching hotel various themes. |

|
Notes : |
|
(1) |
Candidates without the required academic qualification stated in Requirements (a) above but possessing 8 years’ work or teaching experience in the relevant industry may also apply. Where applicable, these candidates may be required to have a Qualifications Framework (QF) Level 3 qualification. |
|
(2) |
Applicants with substantial experience and achievements in the relevant field but without the required academic / professional qualifications OR those with exceptional academic / professional qualifications but with less experience may also apply. |
|
(3) |
The appointee may be required to perform duties outside normal office hours and in designated places as assigned. |
|
(4) |
In support of the Sexual Conviction Record Check (SCRC) Scheme launched by the Hong Kong Police Force, all prospective appointees will be requested to undergo the SCRC at the advanced stage of the employment process. |
