Major Duties: |
|
(a) |
To perform teaching duties including supervision of student projects and fieldwork placement; |
|
(b) |
To carry out duties in relation to student and academic administration; |
|
(c) |
To develop programme curriculum and teaching, learning and assessment materials; |
|
(d) |
To assist in validation and accreditation of the programmes; and |
|
(e) |
To participate in networking with industry / industrial attachments, departmental projects and functions including but not limited to consultancy services, research studies, seminars and exhibitions. |
|
|
|
Requirements: |
|
(a) |
A recognised degree in Advertising / Graphic Design / Visual Communication / Digital Media / Fine Arts, or equivalent, preferably with a post-graduate qualification; |
|
(b) |
At least 3 years’ relevant teaching and / or industry experience, preferably with international exposure; |
|
(c) |
Good interpersonal and team building skills; |
|
(d) |
Good communication and presentation skill in both English and Chinese; |
|
(e) |
Proficient with knowledge and hands-on experience in at least one of the following areas would be an advantage: |

|
(i) |
For Advertising Design: (i) Video editing / AI-assisted media production; |
|
|
(ii) |
For Visual Communication: (i) AI-assisted motion graphics; |
|
(g) |
Proven records in organising events, exhibition, large-scale projects like mural design or illustrative promotional campaigns and linkage with industry / professional bodies would be an advantage. |

Notes: |
|
(1) |
Applicants with less relevant experience and / or qualification may be considered for the post of Part-time Assistant Lecturer, at the rank of “Teaching Associate”. |
|
(2) |
Applicants with substantial experience and achievements in the relevant field but without the required academic / professional qualifications OR those with exceptional academic / professional qualifications but with less experience may also apply. |
|
(3) |
Shortlisted candidate will be required to take a written assessment. |
|
(4) |
Appointees may be required to work irregular hours / outside normal office hours and / or at different work locations on a need basis. |
