Major Duties: |
|
(a) |
To perform teaching duties and assist in supervision of students’ projects and fieldwork placement; |
|
(b) |
To assist in carrying out duties in relation to student and academic administration; |
|
(c) |
To assist in developing programme curriculum and teaching, learning and assessment materials; |
|
(d) |
To provide training and professional consultation to student organisations; |
|
(e) |
To plan, design, organise, implement and evaluate student developmental and
career programmes; and |
|
(f) |
To serve in various boards / committees and other academic committees and work groups as required. |
|
|
|
|
Requirements: |
|
(a) |
A recognised degree in Social Science or equivalent, preferably with a post-graduate qualification; |
|
(b) |
Able to deliver modules related to whole person development and to implement student projects; |
|
(c) |
Substantial experience in organising youth activities and developmental programmes; |
|
(d) |
Good communication and presentation skills in both English and Chinese; and |
|
(e) |
Good planning and problem solving skills, and able to work under pressure and dynamic environment. |

The post is at the rank of Teaching Associate. |
|
(2) |
Applicants with substantial experience and achievements in the relevant field but without the required academic / professional qualifications OR those with exceptional academic / professional qualifications but with less experience may also apply. |

Shortlisted candidates will be required to take a written assessment. |
|
(4) |
Successful candidates are required to perform duties in different sites and/or outside normal office hours. |
