Major Duties: |
|
(a) |
To perform teaching duties including supervision of students’ projects and fieldwork placement; |
|
(b) |
To carry out duties in relation to student and academic administration; |
|
(c) |
To develop programme curriculum and teaching, learning and assessment materials; |
|
(d) |
To assist in validation and accreditation of programmes; |
|
(e) |
To engage in applied research activities, including literature review, data collection and analysis, and preparation of reports or academic outputs; |
|
(f) |
To design and deliver seminars, workshops, and other learning activities integrating research and professional practice; and |
|
(g) |
To participate in networking with industry / industrial attachments, departmental projects and functions including but not limited to consultancy services, research studies, seminars and exhibitions. |

Requirements: |
|
(a) |
A recognised degree in Early Childhood Education, Social Sciences, Education, Public Policy, or a related discipline, preferably with a post-graduate qualification; |
|
(b) |
At least 3 years’ teaching and/ or industry experience in the field of nursing; |
|
(c) |
Good communication and presentation skills in both English and Chinese; |
|
(d) |
Good records of connection with the industry or professional bodies will be an advantage; and |
|
(e) |
Proven records of research or project coordination, particularly in data collection, analysis, and reporting, would be an advantage. |

(1) |
Applicants with substantial experience and achievements in the relevant field but without the required academic/professional qualifications OR those with exceptional academic/professional qualifications but with less experience may also apply. |

Shortlisted candidates will be required to take a written assessment. |
