Major Duties : |
|
(a) |
To perform teaching and academic / administrative duties for PE modules in the Structured Whole Person Development Programme, PE core programmes, and sport training activities; |
|
(b) |
To support the implementation and coordination of PE-related student projects and functions; |
|
(c) |
To organise sports and recreation activities; and |
|
(d) |
To liaise with counterparts across IVE campuses, HKDI, YC, student unions, departments, and external organisations for PE programmes and sports events. |

|
Requirements : |
|
(a) |
A recognised degree in physical education, sports, or sport science with teaching practicum in a school setting (or equivalent), preferably with post-graduate qualifications in education; |
|
(b) |
Ability to coach at least 2 sports. |
|
(c) |
Good communication, teaching and facilitation skills; |
|
(d) |
Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese; and |
|
(e) |
Having community networking or linkages with professional bodies is an advantage. |

Notes : |
|
(1) |
Applicants with substantial experience and achievements in the relevant field but without the required academic / professional qualifications OR those with exceptional academic / professional qualifications but with less experience may also apply. |

(2) |
The work location will be Tuen Mun. |
|
(3) |
Appointees may be required to work outside normal working hours (such as evenings or weekends) and / or outside the main campus. |
|
(4) |
In support of the Sexual Conviction Record Check (SCRC) Scheme launched by the Hong Kong Police Force, all prospective appointees will be requested to undergo the SCRC at the advanced stage of the employment process. |
