Major Duties: |
|
(a) |
To perform teaching duties, including preparation and delivery of programme materials, supervision of students’ projects and other academic activities; |
|
(b) |
To assist in carrying out duties in relation to student and academic administration; |
|
(c) |
To assist in updating and developing programme curriculum and teaching, learning and assessment materials; and |
|
(d) |
To participate in campus / departmental projects and functions, including but not limited to consultancy services, research studies, seminars, short courses and exhibitions, where necessary. |
|

|
Requirements: |
|
(a) |
A relevant recognised degree in Leisure, Recreation, Sports, and/or Physical Education, preferably with a post-gradute qualification; |
|
(b) |
Preferably with relevant teaching and/or industry experience in leisure facilities management and/or recreation programming; |
|
(c) |
Good presentation, teaching and facilitation skills in both English and Chinese; |
|
(d) |
Preferably with coaching qualification from National Sports Associations or Sports Associations; |
|
(e) |
Preferably with professional training in outdoor recreation and/or emerging sports; and |
|
(f) |
Good records of linkage with industry / professional bodies would be an advantage. |

Notes: |
|
(1) |
Applicants with substantial experience and achievements in the relevant field but without the required academic / professional qualifications OR those with exceptional academic/professional qualifications but with less experience may also apply. |
|
(2) |
The post is at the rank of Teaching Associate. |
|
(3) |
Shortlisted candidate(s) will be required to take a written assessment. |
|
(4) |
The appointee(s) may be required to perform duties outside normal working hours and/or outside campus. |
|
(5) |
Candidates who are immediately available are preferred. |
