Major Duties: |
|
(a) |
To provide technical support to teaching activities as well as special projects and events; |
|
(b) |
To assist in laboratory equipment installation / maintenance and training session preparation; |
|
(c) |
To assist lecturers during laboratory / practical classes; |
|
(d) |
To assist in the procurement and inventory control of relevant stores and equipment; and |
|
(e) |
To assist in the implementation of safety measures in laboratories. |
|
|
|
Requirements: |
|
(a) |
A recognised diploma or higher certificate in the areas of Pharmaceutical Technology / Science, Chinese Medicines, Microbiology, Chemistry, or relevant disciplines; |
|
(b) |
At least 2 years’ relevant work experience, preferably with experience in laboratory or pharmaceutical manufacturing; |
|
(c) |
Knowledge of safety and statutory management for endangered ingredients and / or dangerous substances; |
|
(d) |
Proficiency in both English and Chinese; |
|
(e) |
Good work initiative and be a good team player; and |
|
(f) |
Solid experience in both laboratory operation and maintenance of equipment / instrumentation are highly preferred. |

|
(1) |
Applicants with substantial experience and achievements in the relevant field but without the required academic / professional qualifications OR those with exceptional academic / professional qualifications but with less experience may also apply. |
|
(2) |
The appointee(s) may be required to perform duties outside normal office hours and/or outside campus. |
