Major Duties: |
|
(a) |
To perform teaching duties including supervision of students’ projects and fieldwork placement; |
|
(b) |
To carry out duties in relation to student and academic administration; |
|
(c) |
To develop programme curriculum and teaching materials; |
|
(d) |
To act as Module Co-ordinator of Structured Whole Person Development (SWPD) Programme; and |
|
(e) |
To participate in departmental projects and functions including but not limited to consultancy services, research studies, seminars and exhibitions. |
|
|
|
Requirements: |
|
(a) |
A recognised degree in Social Science, Social Work, Liberal Studies, or relevant discipline, or professional qualifications; |
|
(b) |
A good team player with the ability to work independently under pressure; and |
|
(c) |
Good communication and presentation skills in both English and Chinese. |

(1) |
The post is at the rank of “Teaching Associate”. |
|
(2) |
Applicants with substantial experience and achievements in the relevant field but without the required academic / professional qualifications OR those with exceptional academic / professional qualifications but with less experience may also apply. |

(3) |
Shortlisted candidates will be required to take a written assessment in English. |
|
(4) |
Appointees may be required to work outside normal office hours and / or at different work locations on a need basis. |
|
(5) |
In support of the Sexual Conviction Record Check (SCRC) Scheme launched by the Hong Kong Police Force, all prospective appointees will be requested to undergo the SCRC at the advanced stage of the employment process. |
