Major Duties: |
|
To provide architectural support for the following areas: |
|
(a) |
To plan, manage and inspect new capital works and alterations, additions and improvement (AA&I) projects; |
|
(b) |
To prepare project briefs, schedule of accommodation and accommodation requirements; |
|
(c) |
To prepare tender documents such as contract drawings, contract agreement and programme of construction for Architectural and Associated consultancy services; |
|
(d) |
To manage external consultants and contractors; |
|
(e) |
To prepare presentation materials and drawings; |
|
(f) |
To monitor project expenditure and progress to ensure timely completion of projects; and |
|
(g) |
To identify and implement latest trend and best practice in construction industry. |
|
|
|
|
Requirements: |
|
(a) |
A recognised higher diploma in Architectural Studies or equivalent; preferably with a relevant degree and / or membership of a relevant professional institution; |
|
(b) |
At least 10 years’ relevant work experience; |
|
(c) |
Preferably with at least 3 years’ work experience in a supervisory capacity on the clients’ side or representing the clients’ side, such as government / public organisations / tertiary institutions / consultants; |
|
(d) |
Good administrative, interpersonal, communication and team building skills; |
|
(e) |
Sound management capability and ability to work independently; and |
|
(f) |
Good command of English and Chinese. |

(1) |
Applicants with substantial experience and achievements in the relevant field but without the required academic / professional qualifications OR those with exceptional academic / professional qualifications but with less experience may also apply. |

(2) |
The appointee(s) may be required to perform duties outside normal office hours and in designated places as assigned. |
