Major Duties: |
|
(a) |
To perform teaching duties and assist in supervision of student projects and fieldwork placement; |
|
(b) |
To assist in carrying out duties in relation to student and academic administration; |
|
(c) |
To assist in developing programme curriculum and teaching, learning and assessment materials; and |
|
(d) |
To participate in departmental projects and functions, including but not limited to consultancy services, research studies, seminars and exhibitions. |
|
|
|
Requirements: |
|
(a) |
A relevant recognised degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent, preferably with post-graduate qualifications; |
|
(b) |
Good knowledge in computer network, DevOps, Python/Java programming, web and android development; |
|
(c) |
Good knowledge in cloud computing – AWS or Azure or GCP, AI, IoT, big data, SAP and/or; holder of VMware and public cloud certification is highly preferred; |
|
(d) |
Strong communication and presentation skills in both English and Chinese; |
|
(e) |
Preferably with knowledge and experience in design and implementation of computer networks, software development on multiplatform, AI, IoT or big data application development, and/or application development on cloud; and |
|
(f) |
Good records of linkage with industry / professional bodies or with solid industrial experience would be an advantage. |

Shortlisted candidate will be required to take a written assessment. |

(3) |
Appointees may be required to work irregular hours / outside normal office hours and/or at different work locations on a need basis. |
