Shine Skills Centre is a member of the VTC Group. In a caring environment, the Centre provides a wide range of industry-specific skill training and support services for people with disabilities aged 15 or above to enhance their employability and support their integration into the society.

Major Duties: |
(a) |
To carry out duties related to academic administration, such as student admission, programme accreditation and administration, programme quality assurance, and student record processing, etc; |
(b) |
To assist in developing programme curriculum and teaching, learning and assessment materials; |
(c) |
To work with teaching staff to support the learning of students with disabilities, e.g., in-class support, tutorial support, or in other related format; |
(d) |
To support other functions and projects, relevant boards and committees, or task teams, including but not limited to drafting papers, reports and serving as secretary; and |
(e) |
To monitor the operation of relevant training venues, including routine maintenance of equipment / facilities, procurement and store inventory. |

Requirements: |
(a) |
A recognised degree or equivalent, Social Sciences, Special Educational Needs (SEN) Education or related discipline; |
(b) |
Preferably with experience in academic or programme administration, accreditation, quality assurance and / or curriculum development; |
(c) |
A good team player with the ability to work independently under pressure; and |
(d) |
Good communication and presentation skills in both English and Chinese. |

The post is at the rank of “Teaching Associate”. |
(2) |
Applicants with substantial experience and achievements in the relevant field but without the required academic / professional qualifications OR those with exceptional academic / professional qualifications but with less experience may also apply. |
(3) |
Shortlisted applicants will be required to take a written assessment in Chinese and English. |
(4) |
The appointee(s) may be required to perform duties outside normal office hours and in designated places as assigned. |
(5) |
In support of the Sexual Conviction Record Check (SCRC) Scheme launched by the Hong Kong Police Force, all prospective appointees will be requested to undergo the SCRC at the advanced stage of the employment process. |
