The Technological and Higher Education Institute of Hong Kong (THEi) is a member institute of the Vocational Training Council (VTC), established in 2012. It is an innovative, professional and entrepreneurial organisation committed to greening and sustainability. THEi offers more than 20 professional "Applied Science-Oriented" degree programmes across six Academic Departments: Department of Food and Health Sciences, Department of Construction, Environment and Engineering, Department of Sport and Recreation, Department of Hospitality and Business Management, Department of Design and Architecture, and Department of Digital Innovation and Technology. These programmes cover industries with growth potential in Hong Kong and the Asia-Pacific region. The programmes integrate practical applications with theoretical knowledge to ensure that students can effectively apply what they have learned. Major Duties: |
The appointee will be required to collect general information, conduct literature review, survey, and experiment, analyze data, write the technical report and academic papers, and perform other research duties as assigned by the Principal Investigator (PI). |

The appointee will also be required: |
(a) |
To design electronic publications and edit at least 15 short films (E-books) about Chinese medicine identification; |
(b) |
To develop and implement event concepts, themes, and logistics for competitions and workshops; and/or |
(c) |
To deliver engaging and informative lectures on various aspects of Traditional Chinese Medicine, focusing on applications and identification of herbal treatments. |

Requirements: |
Applicants should have a recognised sub-degree (Associate Degree / Higher Diploma), preferably a recognised Bachelor degree, in Chinese Medicinal Pharmacy, Chemistry or related disciplines. Applicants with research experience related to medical science or with project management experience are preferred. |

Applicants should have good command of both Chinese and English, as well as good administrative, interpersonal and communication skills. He/she should have a strong sense of responsibility, good organisational skills, good work initiative and an ability to work independently. |

The appointee(s) may be required to perform duties at different sites and work irregular hours, shifts and on Saturdays and Sundays as necessary. |
(2) |
The remuneration package will be competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience. |
(3) |
The appointee(s) will work at the Tsing Yi Campus. |
