Major Duties: |
(a) |
To provide support in one or more of the following areas: |
|
(i) |
general administration; |
|
(ii) |
course administration, admission & student affairs; |
|
(iii) |
promotion & publicity activities and committee work; |
|
(iv) |
procurement, supplies and store administration of all campus systems, software licenses and equipment; and |
(b) |
To assist in providing basic AV/IT-related technical support for staff, students and campus events. |
|
Requirements: |
(a) |
(i) |
Level 2 or above in 5 subjects, including English Language*, Chinese Language and Mathematics, in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education (HKDSE) Examination, or equivalent^; OR |
|
(ii) |
Level 2 / Grade E or above in 5 subjects including English Language (Syllabus B)*, Chinese Language and Mathematics in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE); OR |
|
(iii) |
Diploma of Applied Education + Maths Plus / Diploma Yi Jin + Maths Plus / Project Yi Jin; OR |
|
(iv) |
A recognised Certificate / Diploma / Foundation Diploma / Foundation Certificate / Diploma of Foundation Studies; OR |
|
(v) |
A recognised Associate Degree / Higher Diploma or above. |

Completion of Hong Kong Vocational English Programme (HKVEP) at Level 2 / Passing 5 specific VTC’s Vocational English Module Certificates is considered an alternative qualification. |

“Attained” in Applied Learning subjects (subject to a maximum of two Applied Learning subjects), and Grade E in Other Language subjects in HKDSE Examination are accepted as equivalent to Level 2 in the New Senior Secondary subjects. |
(b) |
Proficiency in the use of computer software application, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Chinese word processing and / or simple webpage design; |
(c) |
Good communication, interpersonal and organizational skills and be a good team player; |
(d) |
Ability to work independently and to meet tight deadline; |
(e) |
Good working attitude, outgoing and willing to accept challenges; and |
(f) |
Preference will be given to candidates with course administration or technical support experience. |

Notes: |
(1) |
The appointee(s) may be required to perform duties outside normal office hours and / work on shift duty. |
(2) |
Work location: mainly in Ma On Shan but occasionally in other course delivery points. |
