Major Duties: |
|
(a) |
To coordinate and communicate with the local research scholar teams to lead the early childhood research domain of the funded project, including data collection, analysis, and report writing; |
|
(b) |
To liaise with partner organisations (e.g. kindergartens, non-governmental organisations) to arrange field visits, interviews, and focus groups; |
|
(c) |
To conduct literature reviews, policy analyses, and draft proposals to support project development; |
|
(d) |
To design and implement surveys, evaluation tools, and data analysis; |
|
(e) |
To prepare academic papers, presentations, and public communication materials; |
|
(f) |
To design and deliver teaching and learning packages, including seminars and experiential workshops aligned with the research domain; |
|
(g) |
To provide administrative support for the project, including meeting documentation, progress reports, resource organisation, and event coordination; |
|
(h) |
To train and supervise student helpers or project assistants in data handling and fieldwork; and |
|
(i) |
To communicate with the funded organisation and other stakeholders to ensure timely project delivery and alignment with expected outcomes. |

Requirements: |
|
(a) |
A recognised degree in Early Childhood Education, Social Sciences, Education, Public Policy, Social Work, or a related discipline; preferably with a post-graduate qualification; |
|
(b) |
At least 3 years’ relevant experience in research or project coordination, preferably in the education, social service, or non-governmental organisations sector; |
|
(c) |
Solid knowledge of both qualitative and quantitative research methods, with the ability to independently conduct data analysis and reporting; |
|
(d) |
Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Chinese; |
|
(e) |
Good organisational, interpersonal, and teamwork skills; |
|
(f) |
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively; and |
|
(g) |
Proficiency in statistical software (e.g. SPSS, NVivo, Excel) is an advantage. |
