| Major Duties: | 
		
			| (a) | To support the Council's initiatives and play a key role in exploring, establishing and maintaining networks with industry partners and relevant stakeholders in pursuance of these objectives; | 
		
			| (b) | To coordinate with Academic Disciplines and other Operational Units (OUs) to identify key strategic partners and develop comprehensive partner profiles with assessment; | 
		
			| (c) | To explore with Academic Disciplines & OUs to cultivate and foster multifaceted collaboration opportunities including but not limited to industrial attachments for student and staff, work-based projects & student mentorship, cross-disciplinary innovation, graduate employment and donations, etc.; | 
		
			| (d) | To steer and coordinate the execution and implementation of collaboration projects and cultivate strategic partners' support to broaden and deepen their scope of support for mutual benefits; | 
		
			| (e) | To formulate, review and update engagement and promotion strategies; and | 
		
			| (f) | To work with government departments on strategic partnership projects with strategic enterprises with common goals and interests. | 
		
			|  | 
		
			| Requirements: | 
		
			| (a) | A recognised degree or equivalent preferably in Business Administration / Information Technology / Engineering. Additional relevant academic or professional qualifications would be an advantage; | 
		
			| (b) | At least 7 years of relevant experience at the supervisory / management level in business organisations / statutory bodies / professional bodies / industry associations or equivalent, preferably in business development, strategic partnership building and project / account management; | 
		
			| (c) | Familiarity with the commercial, governmental and vocational education sectors; | 
		
			| (d) | Applicants with the following knowledge / experience would have added advantage: | 
		
			|  | (i) | Good knowledge of different industries; experience in driving successful collaboration projects among commercial and / or education setting; and / or experience working with government departments on new projects or initiatives; | 
		
			|  | (ii) | Good understanding of the VTC’s vision and mission, and development; and | 
		
			|  | (iii) | Experience in event management and committee-related secretariat duties; | 
		
			| (e) | Good administration, entrepreneurship, leadership, communication, interpersonal and networking skills, with a good track record of cultivating partnership projects from scratch; | 
		
			| (f) | Highly motivated and proactive, strong problem-solving abilities with an open, dynamic and innovative mindset as well as a broad vision; and | 
		
			| (g) | Good presentation skills and a high level of proficiency in both English and Chinese, preferably including Putonghua. | 
		
			|  |  | 
		
			| Notes: | 
		
			| (1) | Applicants with substantial experience and achievements in the relevant field but without the required academic / professional qualifications OR those with exceptional academic / professional qualifications but with less experience may also apply. | 
		
			| (2) | The appointee(s) may be required to perform duties outside normal office hours and / or outside the office. |
