Major Duties: |
|
(a) |
To manage various laboratories / workshops and prepare training materials, fixtures and equipment for daily operations; |
|
(b) |
To install, operate and perform maintenance of the apparatus and equipment in laboratories and workshops; |
|
(c) |
To provide technical support in troubleshooting, procurement and installation of all equipment, hardware and software; |
|
(d) |
To provide technical support and assist in demonstrations for teaching and learning activities, including workshops / studios / laboratories / practical training sessions and student projects; |
|
(e) |
To assist in the procurement and inventory control of relevant stores; |
|
(f) |
To maintain the safety, order and tidiness of the workshops / studios / laboratories; and |
|
(g) |
To provide support for campus activities. |
|
|
|
Requirements: |
|
(a) |
A recognised diploma or higher certificate in Fashion Design / Fashion Textiles / Image Design / Information and Communication Technology or related discipline; |
|
(b) |
At least 2 years’ relevant work experience in Digital Fashion / Media Production and Technology / Information Technology; |
|
(c) |
Good communication and interpersonal skills in both English and Chinese; |
|
(d) |
Mature, independent, self-motivated, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, with good problem-solving skills; |
|
(e) |
Proficiency in Windows PCs, IT equipment, and audio-visual troubleshooting; knowledge of MS Office is preferred; and |
|
(f) |
Candidates with hands-on experience and / or knowledge in one or more of the following areas will have an advantage: |
|
|
(i) |
CLO 3D; |
|
|
(ii) |
3D printing; |
|
|
(iii) |
AI applications; |
|
|
(iv) |
Image and video editing for projects, events, and promotional materials; |
|
|
(v) |
Media production. |
|
|
|
Notes: |
|
(1) |
Applicants with substantial experience and achievements in the relevant field but without the required academic / professional qualifications OR those with exceptional academic / professional qualifications but with less experience may also apply. |
|

(3) |
Shortlisted candidate(s) may be required to attend and pass a trade test. They are also welcome to present their portfolios during the interview. |
|
(4) |
Appointees may be required to work irregular hours / outside normal office hours and/or at different work locations on a need basis. |
