Major Duties: |
|
(a) |
To perform teaching duties including supervision of student projects and fieldwork placement; |
|
(b) |
To carry out duties in relation to student and academic administration; |
|
(c) |
To develop programme curriculum and teaching, learning and assessment materials; |
|
(d) |
To assist in validation and accreditation of programmes; and |
|
(e) |
To participate in networking with industry / industrial attachments, departmental projects and functions including but not limited to consultancy services, research studies, seminars and exhibitions. |

|
|
|
Requirements: |
|
(a) |
A recognised degree in Early Childhood Education / Special Education / Education / Elderly Services / Social Science / Nursing / Health Care Professional or professional qualification, preferably with a post-graduate qualification; |
|
(b) |
At least 3 years’ relevant teaching and/or work experiences in the field of Early Childhood Education / Special Education / Elderly Services / Nursing / Health Care Professional; |
|
(c) |
For the candidates with Nursing qualification, they should be the Registered Nurse with the Hong Kong Nursing Council and holding valid practicing certificate; |
|
(d) |
Good communication and presentation skills in both English and Chinese; and |
|
(e) |
Good records of connection with the industry or professional bodies will be an advantage. |

Notes: |
|
(1) |
Applicant(s) with less relevant experience may be considered for the post of "Term Assistant Lecturer", at the rank of Teaching Associate. |
|
(2) |
Applicants with substantial experience and achievements in the relevant field but without the required academic/professional qualifications OR those with exceptional academic/professional qualifications but with less experience may also apply. |

(3) |
Shortlisted candidates will be required to take a written assessment. |
