    IVE, HKDI and ICI are to host the online Info Days on 27 and 28 November. VTC Education Advisor, Gladys YAM and artist Dickson YU will provide students with first-hand admission information and statistics analysis, and introduce the multiple progression pathways.     THEi Online Info Day 2020 will be staged on 27 and 28 November to provide students and parents with admission briefings and live Q&A sessions, highlighting the vocationally-oriented THEi degree programmes on offer

    Member institutions of the Vocational Training Council (VTC) including the Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education (IVE), the Hong Kong Design Institute (HKDI), the International Culinary Institute (ICI), and the Technological and Higher Education Institute of Hong Kong (THEi) are to host the online Info Days on 27 and 28 November (Friday and Saturday). Current Secondary 6 students entering the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSE) and parents can stay home and participate in the live-streamed talks on admission, discipline and programmes, and in interactive Q&A sessions as well as the 360° virtual tours of campus facilities, to acquaint themselves with the latest study information and the innovative and interactive teaching and learning environment.

    During the online Info Days, the VTC will organise an array of admission and programme talks where artist Dickson YU and the VTC Education Advisor will introduce the multiple progression pathways and analyse the admission statistics. Experiences of study pathways and professional development will also be shared by alumni. For discipline and programme talks, the latest information will be provided on programme features and admission as well as articulation and professional career prospects. These include the Information Technology, Engineering, Health and Life Sciences*, Design, Business, Hospitality, as well as Childcare, Elderly and Community Services disciplines. Interactive Q&A sessions will also be arranged for the Education Advisor and discipline/programme teachers to answer enquiries on admission tendered online by students and parents.

    Students can make use of the 360° virtual tours to learn about the innovative and interactive teaching and learning facilities at IVE/HKDI/ICI campuses, such as the BIMiHub, Innovation & Technology Co-creation Centre, as well as the HealthTech Centre. Interested students and parents are welcome to log onto www.ive.edu.hk/infoday to register for talks and browse related information on the online Info Day activities.

    Meanwhile, THEi, which provides “vocationally-oriented” degree programmes, will also host THEi Online Info Day 2020 on 27 and 28 November to provide admission briefings and address online questions. Online workshops will also be organised allowing students to get a taste of different programmes and understand their features. THEi will also make available virtual tours of its campuses to help students better understand the new teaching facilities and the vibrant teaching and learning environment.
