| Course Description | This course aims to provide theoretical and practical skills training for in-service gas installers to carry out installation, commissioning and routine maintenance of a domestic hotplate supplied by not more than one gas cylinder. After successful completion of the course, students are qualified to register as class 1 gas installers.
The course covers : Industrial safety; Basic handling of gas escape; Characteristics of LPG; Evaporation principle & structure of LPG cylinders; Operation principle of domestic LPG hotplate; Structure of LPG cylinder regulator; Specification of LPG hoses; Regulations and rules; Installation of LPG cylinder to domestic hotplate. |
