Day class suspension of all VTC member institutions tomorrow

In view of the needs for clearance work at the campuses arising from adverse weather conditions, day classes of all member institutions of the Vocational Training Council (VTC) will be suspended tomorrow (17 September 2018). And to ensure safety of students and staff, all students, teaching and administrative staff are not required to return to the campuses nor report to work unless they have work duties and can make their way to the campuses/offices under safe conditions. (Arrangements on evening classes will be announced in due course.)
Established in 1982, the Vocational Training Council (VTC) is the largest vocational and professional education and training provider in Hong Kong. The mission of VTC is to provide a valued choice to school leavers and working people to acquire the values, knowledge and skills for lifelong learning and enhanced employability, and also to provide support to industries for their manpower development. VTC member institutions and school include the Technological and Higher Education Institute of Hong Kong (THEi) , the Institute of Professional Education And Knowledge (PEAK) , the School for Higher and Professional Education (SHAPE), the Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education (IVE) , the Hong Kong Design Institute (HKDI) , Hotel and Tourism Institute(HTI) , Chinese Cuisine Institute (CCI) , International Culinary Institute (ICI) , Maritime Services Training Institute (MSTI) , Youth College [including Youth College (International)] , School of Business and Information Systems (SBI) , Pro-Act by VTC , Integrated Vocational Development Centre (IVDC) and Shine Skills Centre.
